A little Solar cob cottage, designed for a view from the living
spaces to be located on the north or south side, depending on
the climate it is built in. In a cold northern climate, the large
windows get thick insulated inserts, which slip into the timber
window frames in the winter, to convert them into solid walls
as needed or desired. Even with most of the windows insulated,
this cabin can have more window area than most homes. The
large deck, outside the big windows will provide
plenty of outdoor living space.

In most any climate, this can be the south or south
south easterly side of the house, with plenty of direct
gain Solar windows. Provisions for summer shading could
blend well with the style of the building, and owner
preferences, perhaps vines and trellises.
